Nathan Thompson – (CotW) Honesty and Loyalty
Georgia Military College Prep School recognizes Nathan Thompson for earning the Character of the Week Award in demonstrating the virtues of Honesty and Loyalty. “I would like to nominate Nathan Thompson for Character of the Week for the virtues of honesty and loyalty to friendship. A former GMC Prep student lost his wallet in the swamp while visiting Nathan’s house prior to Thanksgiving. Nathan found the wallet this past weekend while hunting in the swamp. Since the student no longer attends GMC, Nathan could easily have kept the wallet. However, Nathan brought the wallet to me and asked if I could return it to the former student. The wallet contained $175 cash and numerous credit cards. These actions show great character on Nathan’s part. He easily could have kept the money and told no one about the find.
