The Bachelor of Applied Science in Homeland Security and Emergency Management Program provides foundational knowledge and exposure to the Emergency Management field. Students explore a variety of areas within this discipline, including the four phases of emergency management, terrorism in emergency management, as well as interagency disaster management. This concentration is designed for students seeking entry-level exposure to the emergency management field, as well as for professionals in industries such as fire science, homeland security, and EMT administration who are seeking to bolster their emergency management background.

This degree is only offered online through our Global Online Leadership College and not at our Military Junior College.

The BAS in Homeland Security and Emergency Management curriculum includes courses in the following:

Program Cost

One of GMC’s goals is to offer the highest quality college education at some of the most affordable tuition rates.  We have also extended that goal to our bachelor of applied science degrees. Keep in mind that total costs for the program will depend not only on tuition rates, but the amount of quarter hours students must take in order to complete the degree.  This will include courses both in the core and in the major.
