Michael Roberson Scores a 550 at The University of North Georgia

There were a total of forty nine shooters attending SEARC #5 at the University of North Georgia this past weekend. Michael Roberson led the Junior College Rifle Team with their outstanding team score of 2151. Michael shot a 94, 96, 87, 93, 88 and 92 in the standing position for a total of 550.Markeshia Burton was second with 94, 91, 88, 90, 89 and 85 for a total of 537. In her second match with GMC, Krystina Talbert scored 91, 91, 90, 85, 89 and 91 for a score of 537. Cole Lassetter was the fourth man on the team with 89, 89, 89, 85, 88 and 87 for a total of 527. Other Georgia Military College shooters were Joshua Dexter, in his first college match and a graduate of Baldwin High School’s Rifle Team. He shot 87, 87, 91, 84, 86 and 87 for a total of 522. Reggie Kendrick had 88, 87, 90, 84, 79, 85 for a total of 513. Michael Bradley shot 89, 81, 84, 84, 83 and 85 for a total of 505. Susan Li, in her first rifle match, shot a 76, 91, 84, 80, 84, 82 for a total of 497. Cameron Smith shot 85, 74, 77, 79, 77, 78 for a total of 470. North Carolina State was the top team with a score of 2325. The Citadel took second with 2270 and The University of North Georgia shot 2259. Other college teams participating were Clemson with a 22117 and Wofford 2198. The next competition is the Intercollegiate Sectionals at The Citadel on February 15-17.
