Marissa Langston Is Top shooter for GMC’s High School Rifle Team It was an exciting match Tuesday evening when Georgia Military College Prep Rifle Team hosted a match against Baldwin High School. Marissa Langston was the top shooter for the team and shot a 98 prone, 92 standing and 95 kneeling for an aggregate of 285 out of a 300. Jenna Bethea shot a 99 prone, 87 standing and 93 kneeling for a total score of 279. Kris Irvin had a 98 prone, 81 standing and 92 kneeling for a total of 271. Cameron Lowe had a 95 prone, 77 standing and 92 kneeling for a total of 264. Analese Bridges, in her second match of the season, shot a 91 prone, 83 standing and 84 kneeling for a total of 258. The top four shooters shot a team score of 1099. Baldwin High School’s top shooter was Clinton Kennedy with a 95 prone, 90 standing and 93 kneeling for a score of 278. Their total team score was 1057. On January 31, 2013 GMC will host Aquinas High School of Augusta at 4:00p.m. The match is open to the public.
