GMC Men’s Soccer Drops 4-3 Heart-breaker to No. 15 Darton State

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia Military College men’s soccer team couldn’t hold on to a three-goal second half lead as No. 15 Darton State College rallied for a 4-3 win over the Bulldogs in Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association action Wednesday night at Robertson Field.

GMC led 2-0 at the half on a pair of goals from Damieon Thomas (Orlando, Fla.) and pushed the advantage to 3-0 when Kosi Maduchem (Atlanta, Ga.) knocked home a goal just five minutes into the second half.

But Darton State (7-3 overall, 3-0 GCAA) began to chip away and eventually scored the game-winner with only a minute to play.

GMC (5-5, 1-3) will be back in action on Friday at home to take on Emory-Oxford in a 7 p.m. contest at Robertson Field.
