GMC hosts Georgia Statewide All Service JROTC Drill Mee

Georgia Military College hosted the Georgia Statewide All Service JROTC Drill Meet on Saturday, February 27, 2016. 

Twelve JROTC units and more than 300 students from across Georgia participated in the following competitions:  Armed Regulation, Unarmed Regulation, Armed Exhibition, Unarmed Exhibition, Single Exhibition, Dual Exhibition, Color Guard, Academic Exam, Physical Fitness Test, and Knockout Drill.   The following schools participated:  Rutland HS, Perry HS, East Coweta HS, Luella HS, Lee County HS, Sequoyah HS, Coffee HS, North Forsyth HS, Stone Mountain HS, Cross Keys HS, Warner Robins HS, and Jonesboro HS.

The Overall Winner was Luella High School Navy JROTC with a total score of 1505.  In second place, Coffee High School Navy JROTC scored 1441, and in third place, North Forsyth High School Marine Corps JROTC scored 1372.
