Amanda Winters Chosen as UPS Scholar

The Warner Robins campus of Georgia Military College is proud to announce that Ms. Amanda Winters was selected for the 2009-10 UPS Scholars Program and will receive a $2700 scholarship. The UPS Scholars Program is funded through the United Parcel Service (UPS) Educational Endowment Fund and administered by the Foundation for Independent Higher Education (FIHE). Ms. Winters has attended GMC-Warner Robins since Fall 2008. She is a non-traditional student, working full-time and raising a family, and yet has consistently excelled academically with a 4.0 GPA. Due to her hard work and determination in Microbiology, Professor Eubanks nominated Ms. Winters for the scholarship.
