Susan Kirkland to Visit Prep

Georgia author to visit Georgia Military College Prep School

Georgia author, Susan Kirkland will be on GMC Prep School’s campus conducting a writer’s workshop with students in the seventh and eighth grades, on Friday, February 29th. She is a novelist and award winning journalist whose feature stories have been carried by newspapers nationwide. A graduate of North Georgia College and State University (the State’s senior military college) with a degree in English, Susan served 10 years as a photo-journalist and broadcast journalist with the Georgia Army National Guard and US Army Reserve. She is currently the Government writer for The Calhoun Times in Calhoun, Georgia.
