Summer Celebration Jazz Concert on June 5

Allied Arts and Georgia Military College invite you to a “Summer Celebration” on Friday, June 5 at 7:00 pm at the Grant Parade area on the GMC Campus. Jazz artist Joe Gransden will be the featured artist for the evening. Tickets are $15.00 per person.

Jazz vocalist and trumpet player Joe Gransden will be accompanied by his five piece jazz orchestra and will play your favorite jazz standards and dance tunes. Gransden performed in Milledgeville this past February and according to Randy Cannon, arts director, “Joe was very well received. A “Summer Celebration” is Gransden’s first outdoor concert here and it promises to be a fun evening of great jazz music under a star studded sky.”

The $15.00 admission fee also includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages to be served throughout the evening. Tables for ten can be reserved for $125.00 and tables for 8 are $100.00. Tables should be reserved by Thursday, June 4. In the event of inclement weather the event will be moved inside to the Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts in the new academic building at GMC.
