SEARC#3 COMES TO GEORGIA MILITARY COLLEGE

SEARC#3 COMES TO GEORGIA MILITARY COLLEGE Georgia Military College hosted The Southeastern Air Rifle Conference this past weekend. The event was represented by forty two collegiate shooters from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. North Carolina State University was the top four person team with a score of 2292 out of a possible 2400. Will Teller, NCSU, was top shooter scoring 578 out of a possible 600. North Georgia College State University took second place with a score of 2248. The Citadel team placed third with 2245. Other teams competing were GMC and Clemson University. JaraCharleton from Leesburg, Ga. was GMC’s top shooter with standing scores of 93-93-95-88-90-92 for a total of 551. GregLosey fromThe Lafayette Gun Club, Hampton, Virginia shot 91-89-95-90-90-91 for a score of 546. Shooting for only two months was Diana Duncan fromButler, Ga. shooting 86-87-95-89-84-88 for 529. Arielle Vann from Oklahoma had scores of 86-85-86-90-78-90 for a total of 515. Total team score was 2141.Other GMC shooters competing in SEARC #3 match were Michael Roberson fromJuliette, Ga. ,Markeshia Burton of Macon, Robert McKenna of Chesapeake, Virginia, Larry Massey ofIdeal, Ga., James Squires from Kennesaw, Ga. and first match shooter RobertRollefrom Cumming, Ga. The team will travel toWofford in Spartenburg, South Carolina on November 5th.
