GMC-Columbus Announces Halloween Admissions Day

Georgia Military College Columbus will be hosting a Halloween-themed Admissions Day on October 31 to answer questions about college applications, financial aid, and how college could fit into your life. Admissions Day is a free event for those who are interested in attending a college and learning how to finance college education. “This will be an opportunity to ask questions and learn general information regarding college, financial aid, and how they all work together,” says Stephanie Allen, enrollment officer. There will be a College 101 workshop at 1:30 pm and a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) workshop at 3:00 pm. Staff will be on hand to answer individual questions and provide assistance with the application process. Attendees of Admissions Day will get to see a day in the life of our college while enjoying snacks, games, and prizes. Attendees also will receive an application fee waiver that will cover the fee associated with processing Georgia Military College Columbus college applications. “The college process can be confusing,” says Allen. “We want to put any fears to rest that a person may have about coming back to school.” Interested parties can contact Georgia Military College Columbus with questions by calling 706-478-1688.
