Prep Students Pledge Honor to Academic Societies
Georgia Military College prep school students were inducted into various academic honor societies during ceremonies held the evening of February 18, 2010. These students pledged to uphold the integrity of each group into which they were inducted and to foster the ideals of scholarship, service, leadership, and character held by its members. Inductees to the National Junior Beta Club included, from the 7th Grade, Maddie Allen, Chase Bohannon, Ana Bridges, Trey Bridges, Taylore Brooks, Jeff Conner, Mary Ashley Easterwood, Liam Fairbrass, Aidan Falchook, Chrissyl Jadol, Molly Jones, Bronte Joseph, Kristin Kuehn, Casey McNeely, Keely Murner, Hunter Newell, Dylan Resha, Thomas Resha, Drew Thigpen, Niki Thomas, Gage Vanlandingham, Ashley Vinson, Macy Watkins, Alex White, Zach Whittle, Parker Williams, and Roy Wood; from the 8th Grade, Dakota Amerson, McCall Jones, Kaiten Kala, and Katie Anna Thigpen; and from the 9th Grade, Hanna Azimi, Evan Dietrich, Chandler Lacy, and Seth Lowery. The National Honor Society inducted the following new members, Jenny Brown, Haylee Chambers, Janelle Clark, Katelyn Coburn, Chase Colwell, Tyler Easterly, Amy Folendore, Jasmyn Fuller, Abby Giddens, Leanna Harbor, Donovan Haslam, Geovic Jadol, Krista Lanzilotta, Amelia Lawson, Lindee Lord, Elise Riggins, Timothy Seo, Ryan Thorne, Rem Tolentino, Spencer Tyson, Stephanie Veal, and Kaitlin Whipple. The Spanish National Honor Society inducted the following new members, Stephen Beadles, Chris Brown, Christin Cox, Karmyn Fuller, Scott Gorham, Julianna Grant, Rob Grimes, Shelly Hastings, Alexis Hitchcock, Shawn Humphrey, Tiffany Johnson, Kevin Kotrick, Trevin Lee, Hali Minter, Meg Moore, Tabytha Pye, Kelly Riner, Megan Smith, Ellie Thompson, Cory Thrower, Sean Tighe, Kayla Tucker, Stephanie Veal, Brooke Waddell, Skylar Walker, Alyssa Williams, and Kristen Zweizig. New members were also inducted into Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society including, from the 12th Grade, Joel Bentley, Elizabeth Craig, Shanterra Grable, Sara Gray, Rick Griffin, Matt Harrison, Colby Pennington, Cyler Poole, Macy Sikes, John Austin Vance, and Taey Wright; and from the 11th Grade, Chris Brown, Christin Cox, Ben Crawley, Karmyn Fuller, Scott Gorham, Julianna Grant, Rob Grimes, Shawn Humphrey, Kevin Kotrick, Hali Minter, Meg Moore, Tabytha Pye, Munday Tatum, Cory Thrower, Sean Tighe, and Kristen Zweizig.
