Prep Rifle Team wins against Laney HS

GMC Prep Rifle Team won their match against Laney High School with a score of 1115 to 860. Analese Bridges came out shooting very strong with 98 out of 100 in prone, 94 standing, and 93 kneeling for a total of 285. Jenna Bethea led the team with a 96 prone, 95 standing, and 97 kneeling for a total of 288. Matt Bershadsky took third honor with a 94 prone, 85 standing, and 95 kneeling for a total of 274. Chastity Price completed the top four shooters with a 93 prone, 83 standing, and 92 kneeling for a total of 268. Other shooters for GMC were William Peacock with a 97 prone, 71 standing, and 92 kneeling for a total of 260. Grayson See, shooting in his first match, displayed an outstanding performance with a 94 prone, 81 standing and 90 kneeling for a total of 265. On 23 Jan 2014, the rifle team will compete in an American Legion Postal Match at 4pm.
