Georgia Military College Honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The 135th Corps of Cadets at Georgia Military College honored Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a ceremony at 2:30 PM, Friday, January 17, 2014, in the Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts. Junior college and high school cadets gathered to pay tribute to the life and teachings of the civil rights leader and his great accomplishments of promoting equality and justice for all. The guest speaker for the ceremony was Major General LaWarren V. Patterson, Commander of the U.S. Army Signal Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon.
