Prep Raises Funds for Cancer Society

Georgia Military College prep school students raised $5,729.22 for Relay for Life. The students walked on Davenport Field throughout the day on March 28, 2008 to show their support for the American Cancer Society. A final lap was held on the field during afternoon drill with all students, and many of faculty participating. A special thank-you goes out to the GMC Math Department who coordinated this event, and especially to Lynne Owens who served as the Team Leader.
