Prep Junior Beta and Color Guard Assist Special Olympics

GMC Prep School Junior Beta Club and Color Guard participated in this year’s Special Olympics event at Baldwin High School’s stadium. The Color Guard presented the colors and the Junior Beta members assisted the athletes as they competed in events. A special treat is releasing the balloons to signal the beginning of the event. The Prep School has supported Special Olympics for many years and the students come away with an appreciation of how rewarding it is to help others in the community.
