November 13 is Georgia Gives Day
The Georgia Military College Foundation will participate in the second annual Georgia Gives Day on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013. This online fundraiser will benefit participating local nonprofits across the state, as thousands of people will raise as much money as possible in a 24-hour period for nonprofits through the website www.GAgivesday.org. In 2012, the inaugural Georgia Gives Day brought more than 1,300 participating nonprofits together with nearly 7,000 unique donors in one day of giving via the Georgia Gives Day website. To date, Georgia Gives has raised more than $900,000 for these nonprofits, including the Georgia Military College Foundation. It’s easy to donate! Simply visit www.GAgivesday.org, search for the GMC Foundation, and make a donation via credit card or e-check. Every penny counts when giving back and one hundred percent of proceeds will go directly to participating nonprofits. Cash awards will go to nonprofits that are top performers during the day. The greater our number of distinct donors giving at any level, the more prize dollars we can earn for GMC! November 13 is the day to make your gift and help GMC!
