GMC JuCo Football Continues Dominance

SELMA – GMC took to the road to play a 4-yr DII program and came away with a dominating 52-10 win against Concordia Collegein Selma, AL. GMC took an early lead on some excellent throws by Pat Thomas, a big play by WR Quentin Atkinson, and strong running by Jovon Robinson who punched it in for the score. GMC extended the lead to 21-0 before a couple of big plays after missed tackles allowed the lone Concordia TD on the day. The rest of the half was all Bulldogs though as they drove to a 42-6 halftime lead. GMC called the dogs off in the second half, scoring on a pass to TE Ty Flournoy-Smith and hitting a 47 yd field goal by Brandon Rutherford. The GMC Defense dominated all day, creating 6 turnovers ( 4 INT, 2 TD) on the day and shutting down the Concordia offense. GMC finishes the regular season next week on the road against Lackawana College. The game will be played at VA Tech University.
