Meet the Bulldogs Saturday October 19
Dear GMC Family and Friends: As previously announced, our opponent for our Alumni Weekend Game cancelled Wednesday morning, so we have made the following adjustments to our schedule. On Saturday, we will hold a “Meet the Bulldogs” event on Davenport Field at 1:30pm. Our #1 ranked Bulldogs will be on hand to meet fans, take pictures, and talk with GMC fans, friends, and alumni about the season. We will provide, at no cost, posters for attendees to have and if desired to get autographed by team members. At approximately 2:15pm, we will break down the event and begin a short JC Bulldog Intersquad Scrimmage so our alumni and friends can see the Bulldogs in action. So if you are on campus for the many Alumni Weekend events or downtown for the Deeproots Festival, swing over to Davenport for a little bit to check out the Bulldogs live and in person! Again there is NO COSTS for the posters or the scrimmage! Additionally, we have replaced the cancelled game with a Thursday night game next week! On Thursday, October 24, we will take on the Georgia Prep Sports Academy, a post grad team out of Atlanta. Kick-off is at 7pm on Davenport, so please make plans to come out and catch the last home game of this great 2013 season! Thanks, and as always, GO DOGS!
