Main Campus Commissioning and Graduation Ceremonies Announced
Twenty-two junior college cadets will receive their commissioning into the U.S. Army as second lieutenants on Friday, May 28, 6:00 p.m., in the legislative chamber of the Old Capitol.
Members of GMC High School class of 2004 will graduate on Friday, May 28, 8:00 p.m., in the Cordell Events Center. The Honorable Sonny Perdue, Governor of the State of Georgia, will be the commencement speaker.
The 125th class of GMC Junior College will graduate on Saturday, May 29, 10:00 a.m., in the Cordell Events Center. The commencement speaker will be Brigadier General (USA, Retired) John J. Costa, who has three distinguished careers to his credit: in the Army of the United States, as a Professor of Foreign Language, and in politics as the Mayor of Rhinebeck, New York, since 1997.
