Macon Symphony
Georgia Military College and Georgia College and State University will present the Macon Symphony, on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in The Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts.
The concert will feature Xiang Gao, violinist. Recognized as one of the world’s most successful performing artists of his generation from the People’s Republic of China, Xiang Gao is cited by the New York Times as “ a rare and soulful virtuoso”. As a creative crossover musician, Mr. Gao composes, arranges and performs in the styles of Jazz, Blue Grass, Asian folk, and South American music.
There will be a $20 admission fee for the concert and free admission for students with school ID. Tickets will be available at the door.
