Georgia Military College’s Brain Bowl Team recently placed fifth in the gold division of the Tallahassee Brain Bowl. Members of GMC’s team include Phi Theta Kappa members Crystle Leithleiser, Jessica Jackson, Brian Girouard, and Sarah Mellan. Nineteen schools were represented with 22 teams competing. GMC went head-to-head with 10 other squads and finished with a 6-4 record. GMC Brain Bowl Team Coach Sonny Harmon, said, “This was the team’s first experience with college academic ‘bowling’ and they represented GMC very well.”
