Mac Frampton Returns to GMC, Saturday, October 22

Georgia Military College will welcome the return Mac Frampton during its Alumni Weekend festivities on Saturday, October 22, at 7:00 PM, in The Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts.Performing That Mancini Magic!, Mac Frampton will be joined by The Moon River Orchestra, featuring Cecil Welch, Henry Mancini’s solo trumpeter for two decades.With a total onstage company of ten, including bass, drums, keyboard, percussion, reed and three violins, That Mancini Magic! is an enchanting voyage through the inspired melodies that earned Henry Mancini the stature as one of America’s greatest composers, an exquisite anthem for lovers, dreamers, and children of all ages. Concert guests are invited for a complimentary reception, catered by Southern Affairs, outside on Grant Parade following performance. There will be a $10 admission fee for the concert for adults and $5 for students. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the GMC Office of Advancement, 431 South Jefferson Street, or at the door the evening of the performance, except in the event of a sellout, since seating is limited.
