JC Rifle Team Competed in SEARC #4

The GMC Junior College Rifle Team traveled to Spartanburg, South Carolina where they competed at the Southeastern Air Rifle Conference #4, hosted by Wofford College. Thirty-five shooters , representing five colleges participated in the match.GMC’s Junior College Rifle Team’s top shooter was Joseph Henao shooting a personal best of 494.The top four shooters were: Joseph Henao 494, Larry Massey 467, Gregory Sigmon 467 , and Iesha Pettway 464. A special recognition goes to Arielle Vann, Iesha Pettway, Gregory Sigmon and Blake Best for shooting their personal best. Other shooters representing GMC’s rifle team were: Matthew, Slover 461,DanielElling424,Arielle Vann 415, and Blake Best 324. Georgia Military College will host SEARC #5 on January 22, 2011 at Parnell Ruark Athletic Complex.
