We have plans to provide extensions and support for those affected with the goal of completing the term. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we’ll be flexible and supportive as we move forward. For those who cannot make it to campus, GMC will make every effort to work with you individually. Additionally, we are closely monitoring the development and potential impact of Hurricane Milton. At this time, the storm’s path is being tracked carefully, and there is no immediate cause for alarm in our area. Goggans Selected

Congratulations to Carrie Goggans, a 2005 graduate of GMC Prep School, who was recently selected to be a member of the 2007-2008 University of Georgia Football Cheerleading Squad. After one year on the UGA Competition Cheerleading Team, she decided to try out for the varsity football cheering squad. The tryout consisted of a tough three-day workout, which lasted for several hours each day, in which she was judged on physical fitness, the demonstration of an ability to cheer and the ability to learn cheers. The final day also included formal interviews with the judges. Goggans said, “I am super excited to have made the team and I’m looking forward to cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs at Sanford Stadium this fall.” Her parents are Don and Stacie Goggans, of Milledgeville. Her brother, Chris, attends GMC Prep School.
