GMC Women’s Soccer Falls To Georgia Perimeter 3-0

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Georgia Perimeter College jumped out to a three-goal halftime lead and the Lady Jaguars made that margin stand up en route to a 3-0 win over Georgia Military College in women’s soccer action Friday night at Robertson Field.

GMC and GPC had finished in a 2-2 double-overtime tie back on September 17, but this night belonged to the Lady Jaguars.

With the three-goal win, GPC improved to 4-3-1 overall and 3-3-1 in Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association play.

Meanwhile, GMC, which was playing its first game since September 19, dropped to 2-7-2 overall and 1-5-2 in the GCAA.

Rachel Boohar (Oxford, Pa.) finished with 28 saves for GMC.

GMC also played without leading scorer Daijah DeRamus (six goals, two assists), who was nursing an injured ankle.

GMC will back on the field next Wednesday when No. 2-ranked and undefeated Darton State College comes to Milledgeville for a 5 p.m. game.
