GMC to hold honors assembly Friday, April 18

Georgia Military College will hold an honors assembly on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts to recognize students who have achieved academic excellence and who have shown great character. The guest speaker will be Rev. Jay Hodges, a retired minister formerly of Milledgeville First United Methodist Church. The program includes recognition of students in the following categories: President’s list, Dean’s List, Subject Matter Awards for excellence, and Character Awards (for students who have shown great character, as nominated by faculty and peers) and recent winners of the Student Ethics Essay contest. Additionally, the GMC Chamber Singers will present a musical selection.
