GMC Main Campus 801 Fire Rescue Scholarship

GMC Main Campus and Baldwin County Fire Rescue Announce the GMC 801 Fire Rescue Scholarship in Memory of Dwayne Morgan, GMC Prep ‘79

A beloved “Santa,” a man of faith and service, and friend to all, Dwayne Morgan will live on in the hearts of all who knew him; and now, future students will learn of his legacy through The GMC 801 Fire Rescue Scholarship. In memory and honor of Dwayne’s life of service, the Georgia Military College Main Campus and the Baldwin County Fire Rescue present this scholarship to give perspective first responders/firefighters the ability to earn an Associate Degree at no personal cost.

This scholarship includes tuition, fees, and books after Federal and State Aid is applied. Applicant must be a first-time in-seat student at the GMC Main Campus in Milledgeville and sign an agreement to serve as a first responder/firefighter for a minimum of two years with the Baldwin County Fire Rescue. GMC’s next term is Quarter 3 beginning January 12, 2022, followed by Quarter 4 beginning on March 21, and Summer Term beginning June 6.
