Georgia Military College Launches Career Services to Connect Students, Alumni, and Employers
Georgia Military College (GMC) is proud to announce the launch of GMC Career Services, a new initiative designed to support college students across GMC’s Main Campus in Milledgeville, satellite locations throughout the state, and GMC Online through personalized career development and employer engagement opportunities.
The in-person and virtual services platform will connect GMC students, alumni, and employers through real-world pathways that help turn academic achievement into career momentum.
From students’ first day at GMC through graduation and beyond, students will have access to personalized coaching, career advising, internship opportunities, and connections with alumni and industry professionals.
Major General Terry McKenrick, U.S. Army (Retired), President of Georgia Military College, emphasized the importance of launching Career Services to better support students as they prepare for life beyond the classroom. “The demand for career readiness and workforce connections continues to grow, and Georgia Military College is committed to meeting that need,” said McKenrick. “This initiative allows us to better serve our students and alumni by providing the guidance, experiences, and professional connections necessary to help them succeed in today’s workforce.”
Through hands-on experiences and employer partnerships, GMC students will have the opportunity to explore career fields, develop professional skills, build their personal brand, and gain valuable workplace experience before graduation.
