GMC finishes home stand with a 45-0 win over Chattahoochee Tech

Georgia Military College hosted Chattahoochee Tech for their last home game of the season and came away with a dominating 45-0 win. The game was the first between GMC and Chattahoochee Tech, the only other junior college program in the state of Georgia playing intercollegiate football. Chattahoochee Tech finishes their season at 7-3 while the Bulldogs improve to 6-3 on the season with the last regular season game approaching next week on the road in Raleigh, NC against Lackawana College. GMC started the day with two touchdowns in their first four possessions to get ahead to a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The GMC defense was stifling the entire day and did not allow Chattahoochee Tech a first down the first half. The Bulldogs pushed ahead to a 24-0 lead at the half with Dylan Shaddix again having a strong day at QB, going 11 of 18 for 124 yards and a TD. QB Anthony Riggin returned to game action as well in the second quarter, rushing for a 14 yard touchdown. The second half showed more of the same for GMC as they extended the lead ultimately to 45-0 on the legs of Javontae Edwards, Jarrett Neely, and RJ Robinson. The Bulldogs rushed for over 370 yards on the day with 5 rushing touchdowns. The defense finished the day not allowing a first down and allowing a negative total defensive performance.
