GMC defeats Louisburg on the road 41-10

Georgia Military College went on the road again, traveling to Louisburg College and coming away with a 41-10 win. The win improved GMC to 5-2 on the season.

GMC struck first in the game on a 13 play, 95 yard drive with Jarrett Neely punching it in for the score. Louisburg answered by returning the following kickoff for a touchdown to tie the score. On the final thee possessions of the half, GMC struck paydirt with two more runs by Neely and a 65 yard TD reception by James Bing.

The Bulldog Defense controlled their side of the game, keeping the Hurricanes off balance and allowing only a FG which came after Louisburg got a turnover deep in Bulldog territory. Jarvis Brice led GMC defenders with 9 stops and Daniel McCullers followed with 7.

The GMC Bulldogs are off next week but return to action November 7 on Davenport Field.
