GMC Columbus to Offer 17 Ambassador Scholarships

Georgia Military College Columbus is proud to offer a new program for graduating high school seniors who enroll in the August 2013 term at GMC. GMC Columbus will be offering 17 competitive scholarships to motivated, qualified students who will serve as college Ambassadors, working on projects like orientations, recruiting, and providing campus tours. Stephanie Allen, enrollment officer at GMC Columbus, says, “The recipients of this scholarship can receive up to eight terms of scholarship funding as long as they continue to meet scholarship requirements while enrolled at GMC.” Alexandria Williams of Columbus is a current college Ambassador, and describes the job, saying, “This is a great opportunity to find yourself and build your social skills and leadership skills, and the job helps you stay organized. You have to learn how to organize in order to be successful.” The regular application deadline is March 15, so make sure you visit the website at gmc411.com and click on the Admissions tab to find information on the Ambassador Scholarship.
