GMC Breaks Ground on Indoor Training Facility

Georgia Military College held a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, August 28, for the school’s new indoor training facility.  The 7,700-square-foot indoor training facility will feature four 80-foot batting cages, two full-length pitching areas, locker rooms, storage spaces and offices.  Retractable cabled netting will enable easy space configuration, supporting a variety of practice/drill scenarios for baseball, softball, football and cheerleading.  The facility, which will be available for both prep and junior college teams, is expected to be completed in the end of October.
