Georgia Military College Prep Rifle Team Wins Third Match Georgia Military College Prep Rifle Team hosted their third GHSA rifle match of the season against Aquinas High School of Augusta. They won with a score of 1126 to 1026 out of 1200. Jenna Bethea led the Bulldogs with a 98 prone, 96 standing and 91 kneeling for a total of 285. Kris Irvin tied Jenna with a perfect score of 100 prone, 92 standing and 93 kneeling for a 285. The standing position is what determines a tie breaker giving Jenna the lead with her 96. Marissa Langston, team Captain, shot a 98 prone, 91 standing and 94 kneeling for her score of 283. Analese Bridges became the fourth team shooter by one point. She shot 93 prone, 93 standing and 87 kneeling for a score of 272. Cameron Lowe shot an outstanding prone target of 99, 85 standing and 88 kneeling for a total score of 272. These five shooters have achieved high scores with their dedication to the sport of shooting and hours of practice. It is always a pleasure to watch these determined cadets as they interact with other teams and coaches in various competitions. They make their coaches proud as they represent GMC.
