Georgia Military College connects students to business and industry partners

Georgia Military College (GMC) has recently launched The Partners Network, an opportunity for businesses and industries to meaningfully engage with Georgia Military College. The Partners Network provides opportunities for companies to connect with and build relationships with GMC students and soon-to-be graduates.

Members of The Partners Network will be able to market open job opportunities, build awareness of their brand, conduct in-person or virtual speaking engagements, and connect with GMC students across all campuses.

“The Partners Network not only facilitates the creation of a talent pipeline of GMC graduates to member companies, but it also leverages the expertise of our members when it comes to building and enhancing GMC programs.  We value our members’ expertise and we sincerely appreciate their willingness to help us prepare our students for the current and future workforce,” States, Kate Pope, GMC’s Director of Business & Community Outreach.

“We aim to teach the whole student at Georgia Military College and that means learning beyond the academic theory,” said Lieutenant General William B. Caldwell, IV, President of Georgia Military College. “Real-world application and skill-building are just as important for the success of our students as the academics. Members of The Partners Network help Georgia Military College better connect current and future programs and curricula with contemporary and future needs in the workforce and in our communities.”

Members of The Partners Network will be featured under individual degree programs on the GMC website as well as the following link: https://www.gmc.edu/the-partners-network/
