Georgia Military College Columbus Announces Free Admissions Day

Columbus, GA –Georgia Military College Columbus will be hosting an Admissions Day on Friday, November 30, to answer questions about college applications, financial aid, and how college could fit into your life. Admissions Day is a free event, open from 8am-4pm, where staff will be on hand to answer individual questions and provide assistance with the application process. Leanne Fowle, student services representative, says, “If an applicant comes in and applies that day we will waive their application fee. We will be doing all that we can to help applicants while they are here.” Applicants can bring in their completed FAFSA and official transcripts to be processed, and staff will also be doing a FAFSA workshop for those who have not completed it. Applicants need to bring their 2011 taxes to the workshop if possible. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day, and applicants will also be able to get more information about GMC’s new “Bring Your Own Device” campus.
