Cameron Lowe Leads Prep Rifle Team to 7-0 Victory

Cameron Lowe Leads Prep Rifle Team to 7-0 Victory Georgia Military College Prep Rifle Team traveled to Jefferson, Georgia last evening to compete in a rifle match with Jackson County High School. Cameron Lowe shot an outstanding 100 prone, 91 standing, 90 kneeling for a total score of 281. Analese Bridges took second place with a 94 prone, 93 standing, 89 kneeling for a 276. Marissa Langston shot 97 prone, 85 standing, 93 kneeling for a 275. Kris Irvin scored 97 prone, 89 standing and 86 kneeling for a total of 272. Jenna Bethea had a 92 prone, 88 standing, 92 kneeling for a score of 272. The tie breaker between Kris and Jenna resulted in the higher standing score. The team score was 1105 to Jackson County High School’s 985. Their top shooter was Jamie Johnson, a tenth grader, shooting 92 prone,84 standing and 90 kneeling. Match dates for GHSA Riflery play offs will be announced later this week.
