Third Annual Military Tattoo
Georgia Military College’s third annual Military Tattoo was held on Friday, April 16, 2004, 6:00 PM. A Military Tattoo is an outdoor military exercise given by troops as evening entertainment, and is a program steeped with history and tradition. The event featured the John Mohr MacKintosh Pipes and Drums Band, a solo bagpiper, and precision, solemn performances by the Georgia Military College Color Guard and Drill Team. The deeply moving ceremony included the formal retirement of the nation’s colors, by a fourteen-member flag detail, to mark the end of the day.
