The David Osborne Trio, Friday, May 13
Georgia Military College Steinway Concert Series will present The David Osborne Trio, Keys to the Heart, on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in The Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts. Known as the “Pianist to the Presidents” Osborne has entertained at the White House for Presidents Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Obama. He is also a regular performer for Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter in Plains, Georgia. When not entertaining the guests of presidents – GMC’s included – Osborne performs weekly at his new home, the Bellagio Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Following the concert guests are invited to join the artists for an outdoor reception on Grant Parade, with entertainment by the GMC Prep Jazz Band. There will be a $10 admission fee for the concert for adults and $5 for students. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the GMC Office of Advancement, 431 South Jefferson Street, or at the door the evening of the performance, except in the event of a sellout, since seating is limited.
