Students Donate Bicycles to Boys and Girls Club
(Milledgeville, GA) June 1, 2004 – In keeping with Georgia Military College’s goal of encouraging good citizenship, GMC Middle School and High School students recently donated twelve bicycles to the Boys and Girls Club of Milledgeville. Cadet Taye Wright, GMC Middle School, assisted Captain Larry Martin in presenting the bicycles to Mr. Hugh Sanders, who serves on the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Club. Captain Larry Martin said, “This goal would not have been possible without the support of Chief Woodrow Blue, detectives Mark Bell and Jason Lopez of the Milledgeville Police Department, Colonel Ed Moore, Major Scott Seagraves and the administration of GMC.”
