Georgia Military College will present the second in the 2007 Steinway Concert Series, A Holiday Concert, on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in The Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts.

Presented by the GMC Steinway Society, the Holiday Concert performance will feature our guests, the Southern Georgia Symphony. The famed Irish Artist Oisin Mac Diarmada will be performing with the symphony in this concert on traditional Irish instruments. In addition, the symphony will also be performing a portion of the Nutcracker and the Bernstein Candide Overture. Following the concert guests are invited to enjoy a dessert and coffee reception hosted by The Georgia Military College Steinway Committee.

There will be a $5 admission fee for the concert. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the GMC Office of Advancement, 431 South Jefferson Street, or at the door the evening of the performance, except in the event of a sellout, since seating is limited. For more information, call the GMC Office of Advancement at (478) 445-2692.

The mission of the Georgia Military College Steinway Society is to provide funding for the Steinway Concert Series as well as for ongoing technical support of the Steinway Concert Grand in the Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts, the purchase of which has been the group’s crowning achievement.
