Rifle Team Competes at The Citadel
Georgia Military College Rifle Team traveled to The Citadel for the Southeastern Air Rifle competition on 10-15-10. The Citadel has a sixteen point electronic scoring in their range and accommodated fifty two shooters from the following colleges: Clemson, North Carolina State University, Mercer University, North Georgia College and University, Wofford, The Citadel and Georgia Military College. Matthew Slover was top shooter for GMC competing with sixty shots in the standing (offhand) position. The team of Larry Massey-Captain, Gregory Sigmon and Daniel Elling made up GMC’s team with Slover. The shooters expressed a great experience shooting with so many good shooters and were pleased with their progress each shooting a new personal best. The team will travel to Anniston, Alabama Nov. 6 and SEARC #3 will be hosted by Clemson University.
