Resignation of Diana Baruffa as Softball Coach Announced

Georgia Military College Head Women’s Soccer and Softball coach Diana Baruffa has resigned her position at the college. Coach Baruffa had a successful year in 2009-2010 in both programs, taking both teams to the GJCAA Conference Tournament. “We hate to see Coach Baruffa leave us but we wish her the best. She was making some good strides with her young ladies here at GMC and we were looking forward to watching her develop these young programs,” commented GMC Athletic Director Bert Williams. Coach Baruffa came to GMC after a standout career as a player at GC&SU and two years as assistant coach at GMC to former GMC head coach Kelly Zeilstra.
