Prep Rifle Team’s Bethea Shoots a 284

GMC hosted Baldwin High School yesterday afternoon in the playoff match for Georgia High School Association. This year’s team has set a school record of 8-0. Jenna Bethea scored a 93 prone, 95 standing and 96 kneeling for a top score of 284 for her team. Cameron Lowe shot a 96 prone, 88 standing and 97 kneeling for a total score of 281. Analese Bridges took third honor with a 94 prone, 94 standing, 91 kneeling for a total of 279. Marissa Langston had a 97 prone, 90 standing, 91 kneeling for a score of 278. Kris Irvin scored 95 prone, 84 standing, 91 kneeling for a total of 270. Georgia Military Prep scored an outstanding team score of 1122. Baldwin High School’s top shooter was Nicholas Hess with a 96 prone, 91 standing, 89 kneeling for a total of 276. Clint Kennedy shot an outstanding 99 prone, 80 standing and 92 kneeling for a total of 271. Other Baldwin shooters were Cory Childs with a 267, Bradley Kitchens with a 261 and Liliana Reyes with a 255. Seeding for sectionals is not complete at this time. GMC will be shooting a team in Area 2, South Georgia.
