Prep Rifle Team Finishes Season with Win
GMC’s Prep Rifle Team finished their season with a win over Lakeside High School in Augusta with a score of 1069-993. Recognition is given to the members of the team who helped contribute to the impressive 6-1 season. ManyRanges in Area 4 only have the capacity to shoot four to five shooters with each team, therefore, the shooters have a lot of competition within themselves to represent GMC at the matches. Major Tom Hall and Mary Ellen Eaton, have tried topermit the 16 team membersopportunities to shoot in various matches. These include theGeorgia High School Association andCivilian Marksmanship Army Postal Matches. Displaying tremendous character, the shooters understand why each personshould have the opportunity to shoot in a match when there can only be 4-5 attending each match.Georgia Military CollegePrep Rifle Team’s spiritdisplays dedication, support for each other and maturity coaches dream of for their athletes.
