Prep Raider team places 1st and 2nd at first meet

The GMC Prep Raider Team competed against eight schools on Saturday, September 12, at Adairsville HS.  The meet started with a 2-mile team run followed by rope bridge across a 60-foot gap, 40-yard tire flip, obstacle course, cross-country rescue, and the gauntlet, which requires the team to run through obstacles wearing 25 or 35 lb. ruck sacks.

GMC’s mixed team placed first in every event and first overall.  GMC’s female team placed second in five of the events and second overall.  GMC’s male team has improved immensely and placed fifth out of twelve teams overall, right behind Riverside Academy's Team B.

The next competition will be on Saturday, September 19 at Cedar Shoals.
