Parade Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Friday

The 130th Corps of Cadets at Georgia Military College will honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a parade at 2:30 PM, Friday, January 16, 2009. Junior college, high school and middle school cadets will march on Grant Parade to pay tribute to the life and teachings of the civil rights leader and his great accomplishments of promoting equality and justice for all.

The guest speaker for the parade will be Colonel Fred Van Horn, GMC Executive Vice President.

The public is invited to attend.
