                GMC:      September 20 – defeated Middle Georgia State College 59-3 in Milledgeville, Ga.
GMC evened its record at 2-2 with a convincing 56-point win at Davenport Field.  Jovon Robinson and Jordan Brown each rushed for three touchdowns while Tresvon Coakley added a pair of TD runs.  Robinson, who rushed for 132 yards on 12 carries, scored on runs of 23, 17 and 5.  Brown found the end zone from 67, 4 and 3 yards out.  Nicholas St. Germain also connected on a 49-yard field goal and all eight extra points for GMC.  The Bulldogs’ defense held the Knights to 217 yards of total offense while forcing four turnovers and blocked a field goal.  GMC also recorded seven quarterback sacks, including two each from Dezmin Reed and Kalan Ritchie.  Corey Neely had 10 tackles and Marchello Lewis and Devontae Freeman with eight each for the Bulldogs.

                COD:       September 22 – defeated Univ. of Wisconsin-Oshkosh JV 29-2
College of DuPage is hosting Homecoming on campus for the first time in nearly 40 years as GMC ventures to Glen Ellyn. COD defeated Wisconsin-Oshkosh JV 29-2 on Monday and has a quick turnaround to face GMC on Saturday.  Zachary Mahoney was 9 of 13 passing for 150 yards and one TD while Christian Ellison rushed four times for 79 yards.  Martine Perez had 62 yards and one TD on 11 carries and Justus Brantley rushed seven times for 46 yards and two TDs.  Eight players had a reception, including Manny Grant with two for 49 yards (1 TD) while Crissean Caver and Justin Bestda each had three.  Matt Rodriguez had a 27-yard field goal for the Chaparrals.  COD’s No. 3-ranked defense allows just 7.8 ppg and the offense is averaging 26.8 ppg.
