Marissa Langston Leads the Prep Rifle Team to a Victory over HHS

With scores of 96 Prone, 93 standing, 97 kneeling for a total of 286, Marissa Langston led the Prep Rifle Team as top shooter. Jenna Bethea scored 98 prone, 93 standing and 93 kneeling for a total of 284. Cameron Lowe shot 95 prone, 89 standing and 93 kneeling for a 277. Analese Bridges made the four man team with 93 prone, 88 standing and 93 kneeling for a total of 274. Their team score was 1121 to 1026 over Hephzibah High School of Augusta last evening. Kris Irvin was the fifth shooter in this match and scored a 95 Prone, 83 standing and 92 kneeling for a total of 270. These five shooters will represent Georgia Military College at the JROTC Service Championships on February 14-16, 2013. This afternoon the JROTC Prep Team will compete in a National Rifle Association Postal Match. They will be defending their first place title from last season.
