MAJ Clay McElheney Receives Bright Ideas Grant

Congratulations to MAJ Clay McElheny, GMC Prep STAR Teacher of the Year, who received a Bright Ideas Grant from the Tri-County Electric Membership Corporation for the 2nd year in a row! Clay plans to use his $1,065 grant for his Physics Class; he will be teaching a unit on building a two stage ballistic rocket where students will design, build, and launch the rockets.
